How is Segment This Used?

Once a segmentation study of your customer base has been completed and distinct market segments have been identified, we seamlessly integrate customer database and sales force information into the Segment This application. Using a secure login, each sales team member will have the ability to calculate the segment for each customer on their target list. Sales managers can track each team member’s progress and determine how their region is doing.

Once sales teams are finished calculating their target customers, a segment membership is transferred into your customer database for future analysis. The process was designed to be easy for your sales force, taking about 2 minutes or less for each case to be completed. Imagine the insights gained when your entire database has been “typed” into its correct attitudinal based segment.

Information on each segment will also be included in Segment This℠ to help your sales force learn about their sales targets. This can include, but is not limited to:
  • Segment attitudes
    • Key drivers of decision-making (purchase or prescribing)
    • Core values/beliefs
    • Unmet needs
    • Perceptions of your products, key competitors and the category
